Provider: LexVerity Legal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16836431), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. LexVerity Academy is a trading name of LexVerity Legal Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This document relates to the LexVerity Academy study service, an online SQE1 preparation service provided on a subscription basis (software as a service).

Essential only
We use only the storage needed to run the app: a session cookie or token so you stay signed in, and local storage for your study progress, scores, error log and preferences. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use third party analytics or tracking cookies. Because this storage is strictly necessary to deliver the service you have asked for, consent is not required for it under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations; we still tell you about it here so you know exactly what is stored.
What is stored and why
- Auth session (signed in only): issued by our authentication provider, so you do not have to sign in on every visit.
- Study data (always, on this device): your progress, scores and preferences, kept in local storage so the app works fully offline.
- Cookie notice acknowledgement: a small flag recording that you have seen and closed the initial information notice, so it is not shown to you again on this device.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser at any time. Clearing local storage on a device where you are signed out will lose any progress that has not been synced to an account. Because there is no advertising or tracking here, there is no "reject non essential cookies" choice to make: the essential storage above is what the app needs to function.

This marketing site
This site (the pages you are reading now, separate from the study application) is built as static pages and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Where analytics are used, we use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics approach rather than a tracking cookie, so no analytics cookie is placed on your device.
Our pricing pages look up your approximate country from your IP address, once, using a third-party lookup service, purely to decide whether to show GBP or PKR pricing by default; if that lookup is unavailable, your browser's timezone is used as a fallback. This is not a cookie and nothing is set by that service in your browser: the only thing stored is the resulting region code ("United Kingdom / international" or "Pakistan"), kept in this site's own local storage on your device, not shared with any other site. Pricing region is determined automatically from your approximate location; there is no manual region control. You can clear this stored region at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
