Refund & Cancellation

Last reviewed 1 August 2026.

When this applies

This policy applies once real payments are live. Where the current build runs subscribing in a clearly labelled test mode that takes no money, nothing is charged and nothing below is applied until real payments are switched on and you are told so at the point of sale.

How to cancel

Cancel any time from Account settings, under Plan, in the same place and by the same ease of steps as signing up. Cancelling stops future renewal; you keep access to your current plan until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further payment is taken after that.

Your 14 day cancellation right

If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel a distance contract without a reason. Because a subscription supplies digital content, that right ends once you have expressly asked us to begin immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel by doing so. If you cancel within the 14 day window and before giving that acknowledgement, you are entitled to a full refund.

Refunds outside the 14 day right

Because a subscription supplies digital content, once you have started using a paid tier within a billing period we do not generally refund that period, except where:

  • the 14 day cancellation right above still applies; or
  • the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you a remedy, for example because the service was not of satisfactory quality, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, in which case you may be entitled to a repair, a price reduction or a refund as the law provides; or
  • we choose, at our discretion, to offer a refund or credit as a gesture of goodwill, which does not affect your statutory rights.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within a reasonable period, and in any event within the timescale the law requires. We do not charge a fee for processing a refund you are entitled to.

How to request one

Contact us using the details above, telling us your account email and the reason. We aim to respond promptly and will explain the outcome in plain terms. Nothing in this policy affects your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.
